Expansion of the FairPlay Program

Expansion of the FairPlay Program

The Queensland Government has announced an expansion of the FairPlay program, aimed at reducing the cost of sports and recreational activities for children.

The program will now include an additional 100,000 vouchers, supported by a $20 million investment.

These vouchers, valued at $200 each, help families cover the costs associated with sports memberships, registration, and participation fees for children aged 5 to 17 years.

This expansion brings the total number of available vouchers to 300,000.

Supporting Vulnerable Families

To ensure that the most vulnerable families benefit, 50,000 of the vouchers are reserved for eligible health care card and concession card holders.

This targeted approach guarantees that families in need receive the support necessary to keep their children active and engaged in sports.

How To Apply

Applying for a FairPlay voucher is straightforward.

Families can visit the official Queensland Government website to access more information and submit their applications.
